Every project is unique, but most pools take 8–12 weeks from dig to first swim.
The timeline depends on design complexity, permitting, weather, and any additional features like spas, decking, or outdoor kitchens. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way so there are no surprises

Yes — in Georgia, a permit is required before construction begins.
Our team handles the entire permitting process for you, so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or city regulations. This ensures your pool is fully compliant and built to code.

Absolutely! Every pool we build is custom-designed to fit your home, lifestyle, and vision.
We start with a hand-drawn concept, move into a 3D walk-through of your design, and fine-tune materials and features until it’s exactly what you want.

We can design a pool for many different yard sizes, but typically we recommend at least a 15- to 20-foot clear area from structures and property lines. City or HOA setback requirements may also affect placement.

The main stages are:

  1. Design & Permitting

  2. Excavation & Rebar

  3. Plumbing & Electrical

  4. Shotcrete

  5. Tile, coping & decking

  6. Pebble & Fill

  7. Start-up & Pool School

You’ll receive updates throughout the entire process so you know what’s happening at every stage.

Popular upgrades include:

  • Tanning ledges and in-pool seating

  • Waterfalls, Bubblers & Deck Jets

  • Fire features

  • LED lighting and automation

  • Spas and spillways

  • Pergolas, cabanas, and outdoor kitchens

These features can be designed into your initial plan or added later.

Concrete pools are the most customizable and durable option. They allow for unique shapes, finishes, and features that aren’t possible with pre-fab shells. They also have a longer lifespan when properly maintained.

Once construction is complete, we’ll do a pool school to show you how to operate and maintain your equipment. You’ll also receive warranty information and support from our team if any issues come up.

FAQ

Pool Equipment Questions

This usually means your pump is either not getting power or has a failing capacitor.

  • Check the breaker box — pumps often trip the breaker.

  • Make sure the timer or automation isn’t off.

  • If it hums but doesn’t run, it’s often the motor capacitor.
⚠️ If the motor is hot to the touch, turn it off and call your service pro.

  • High pressure often means the filter is dirty or clogged — backwash or clean your cartridge.

  • Low pressure can mean the pump isn’t primed, there’s a leak in the suction line, or the skimmer basket is clogged.
✅ Normal operating range is usually 10–20 psi.

Air in the system usually means there’s a leak on the suction side.

  • Check the pump lid O-ring for cracks.

  • Make sure the lid is tight.

  • Check fittings and the water level in the pool.
Air can also be caused by a dirty skimmer basket or clogged line.

  • Make sure the pump is running and flow is strong.

  • Check for error codes on the heater.

  • Dirty filters or clogged lines can reduce flow and cause the heater to shut off.

  • Some heaters won’t ignite if the water temperature is already close to the set temp.

  • Check salt levels — too low or too high can stop production.

  • Clean the cell if there’s scale buildup.

  • Cold water (below 60°F) can cause cells to shut off automatically.

  • Check the cell’s life — some need replacement every 3–5 years.

  • This could be a loose connection or a failing bulb.

  • If water gets into the light housing, the fixture may need to be replaced.

  • Always shut off power at the breaker before troubleshooting

  • Check for tripped breakers or power outages.

  • Reset the control panel.

  • If some functions work and others don’t, it may be a relay or programming issue.

  • Software updates or re-syncing can often fix glitches.

  • Most leaks happen at joints, unions, or pump seals.

  • Tighten fittings carefully — overtightening can make it worse.

  • Check for worn or cracked gaskets.
If it’s underground or persistent, a professional leak detection may be needed.

  • High debris loads, algae, or chemical imbalance can cause this.

  • Clean or replace media (sand, DE, or cartridge) as needed.

  • If the issue happens too fast, check circulation and vacuum for blockages.

  • Likely caused by overheating, electrical issues, or a bad motor.

  • Check airflow around the pump and make sure the motor isn’t covered.

  • If it keeps tripping, call an electrician or pool tech.
